  • Washing machine with plastic tub cannot be good machine...

  • Hey, that's a very nice machine you have there... the bearings can be replaced: don't add it to the landfill just for that! My sister has a Candy Inox from 93' (similar looking to Nrones' old 1) and she had new bearings last year... she wouldn't have it any other way... she's so faithful to her Candy and... her Dash (Daz). Greetings ;-)

  • @Blanky974

Thank you :) If I have a time I'll replace the bearrings. But I'm going to fix my old Bosch dishwasher also. ;)

  • @glenfieldmathk1 not to mention that here, with people who do the marketing and money jobs in stores are placing Candy as direct competition to Bosch here. When Candy makes an discount or promotion, sales go down to bosch (they are always down compared to Candy, but they go even more), and other way around. And when, say Indesit or Beko makes a promotion nothing happends with sallary of neither Candy or Bosch.. remember I am talking only about my country, you know yours

  • @nrones Just proves that the Quality of those new Hoovers here is appalling:)

  • @glenfieldmathk1 I've just done research, and I find that prices in Germany and Italy are pretty much the same when it comes to BSH appliances, and for Serbia too. However Candy/Hoover appliances here are much more expencive than in UK.. just as example on appliancesonline.co.uk a Hoover 9kg 1400rpm inverter costs 404 pounds, and here, the exact one costs 550pounds!

  • My grandmas Hoover performer AB130 was a pretty good machine, and probably one of the 1st from Candy since takingover, and it had the same drum as in the video, the paddles where amazing, and the machine gave excellent results.

They lasted a long time, and are much better than Whirlpools, and the current Hoover machines.

Sorry for getting into this argument, I shouldn't have, but couldn't help it!

  • @nrones The reason Siemens are so bad in Italy, is because they aren't the ones that are made in Germany.

The ones made in Germany would be too expensive for that market, so they use the cheaper ones over there which would sell. This is because in Italy Candy & Hoover & Indesit are of much popular.

Here the German Siemens Machine sells well, and Siemens are rated very high.

These old Candy's have absolutely Brilliant build Quality, and at least unlike Hotpoint, they tumble very well!

  • @nrones I love Candy and always will!

  • Love Candy and always will!

  • @glukometr2 Well done! Be careful though when repairing them... ask some1 to give you a hand if you can. Bye now :-)

  • @nrones That i so weird!! siemens here are the second brand from best! only miele beat them. yet candy are by far one of the worst over here! but if im honest if i moved over to where you are id probably get a candy too because they sound completely the other way round lol. same for zanussi they are average here and in most countryu are very good machines. And strangely aswell hotpoint arent as bad over here as they are where you are, but they arestill just terrible haha
