My wife and I saw him in Phoenix (about 1972) - what a show - he can sing all kinds of songs. I now send this to my wife - because he was singing about us...!! It's true where has the real country music gone....I hardly ever listen to the "new" country - its missing the soul.

i love this. i believe i have an album with him standing behind hank williams, ill have to check. i think this is my fave. its not only the tune, but the story, dont we all have one. WOW !!
