XBOX 360 RING OF RED LIGHTS FIX

Don't pitch away your Xbox just yet. You actually can really repair it using the Guide My close friend used to fix his.

@MrPs391 Take em off, you're replacing them because they lose shape too soon. Btw this fix actually works! so pumped to see green rings after 2 weeks of no clue how to fix it. I put thermal paste on the cpu and gpu while i had it open tho and put a cardboard seperator in the air vent so they'd each have their own fan

Do i leave those bandaid looking things on the ram chips? or do i remove them?

@99butcher99 Sorry I forgot when I got it fixed I think it was 2005 they don't make original xboxes anymore

@Theroguesunit6 If you cannot do it yourself following some of the fixes here and it is more than 3 years old and no longer under warrantee, dump it, go to walmart and just buy the barebones. Almost as cheap as the fixes and you get a new 3 year warrantee. I bought mine for 129 and I think they are less now.

For a short period of time. Maybe week or a little longer. The only perm solution is to take the HD off and buy a new basic machine. Cheaper than paying for repairs and more permanent
