Vax, in part thanks to Bachmann & Perry bringing attention to them, will 1 day (soon I hope) go the way of bloodletting, lobotomies, trepanation. Bloodletting has a long history so musta been peer reviewed & scientifically proven huh? And then there was Antonio Egnaz Moniz, who won Nobel Prize in 1949 for his lobotomies. Really- modern medicine prescribing Coumadin/Warfarin rat poison has little to be proud of. What don't they understand about life being in the blood? Don't  waste or pollute it!

1st I had a mild adverse double reaction to a flu shot (1982) and later to supposedly a far less reactive long series of allergy shots (1994/95) which spurred increasingly serious reactions leading to my own development of Guillian Barre Syndrome, after resuming the shots, due to the doctor & nurses insisting my recurring strange flu symptoms (worsening every time I had another shot) couldn't possibly be related to the shots. Back then we had no info like today. I had warning signs, most don't.

@patmac573 Of course they want to give it to boys. Think how much potential revenue merck was missing out on by limiting it to girls. it will not surprize me in the least if they soon recommend it for adults over 26. it's not about safety or effectivness, it's about profit.

@patmac573 I don't have kids, but I don't blame you...I can only imagine what I would do to someone who tried to forcibly make me take anything...I would imagine magnify that reaction by 100x when its your kids.
