Basic coloring with colored pencils

PLEASE READ for FAQ
Q: Do I use a special brand of coloured pencils?
A: Yes, I use a German brand "Faber-Castell" and a cheaper brand (from a discounter called Aldi), "Fantasia", they're similar to Faber-Castell.

Q: Do you HAVE to use this brand?
A: Of course NOT. It doesn't matter what brand you use, as long as they're soft =)

Q: Did I colour hair and face with markers?
A: No. You can see me colouring the skin later in the video with pencils. And I used them on the hair, too, but it's not in the video, so just trust me here xD

Q: What music did I use?
A: EDIT: ignore the Credits, since it's audioswapped! "Moving Mountains" by 8105

Have you ever asked yourself, why they put a white pencil in every box? Or how you could intensify your shadows, when you don't have any darker color?
Here are some answers =D

Well, after I put up videos about Copics, watercolors and even outlines... here is my second-favorite style of oloring - colored pencils. They have one big advantage compared to Copics: they're inexpensive and almost everyone starts his "career" with them.
So I thought, I should put up some tips for beginners =D

Don't be confused of the beginning of the video (which is the end of the coloring-process). I thought, I should start with the basics of coloring, but usually I start my pictures with coloring the skin. But skin-coloring is more difficult, at least for me, I don't know from the beginning, what to color and decide more or less spontaneous. And I thought, you should get a more... "planned" first glimpse XD

@TheChaosUnicorn Haha x'D it's not the camera, the camera's great. I just can't get a better ciew on me while working because I tend to... get really close to the paper when colouring/drawing and then you wouldn't see anything in the end |D
