Pattaya dolphin world is located next to Phoenix Golf Course south east of Pattaya, About 20 or 25 minute drive. It just opened (There sign said soft opening) and only the dolphin show is ready. The cost right now is 190 Baht per person, Kids shorter than 90cm get in free. They plan to have a fishing park, ATV rides, rooms for rent, Restaurants, Games and they do have horse rides happening now.
The dolphin show lasted about 45 minutes and was lots of fun, Kids big and small loved it.

  • A truly AWFUL place where dolphins are kept in horrible conditions. They use electric shocks to 'train' the dolphins. REMEMBER there is no such thing as animal welfare in Thailand.

The centre near Trat / Chantaburi is at least open to the sea and the dolphins are well cared for.

Like many things in Pattaya -- this place sucks and is just people trying to make a fast buck at animals expense.

  • @BigjockGnu Thanks for your comment, It sounds like you have lots of experience in Pattaya, if you think everything here sucks.

  • @lifeinthailand Note I said many things and not everything. The devil is in the details. I hate animals being abused especially for profit.

  • @BigjockGnu I agree with animal abuse in Thailand, You can see it every day, People kicking dogs, trowing rocks at cats, Some of the for profit places are unbelievable but I have to say that it is slowly getting better.

  • Do they offer/Are planning to offer swimming with dolphins?

Because I might be going to Thai and I'm thinking of swimming with dolphins near Chantaburi but this is closer to Bangkok so this is a better option if you can swim with dolphins there.

  • @LugalaiEstonia They plan to but when I was there it was just pictures after the show, But the place had just opened.

If you havent yet been Chanyaburi is worth the drive. You could always combine with a trip to Koh Chang. Ferry leaves from Trat

  • Love it !

  • @lifeinthailand Cool, thanks :D

  • What fun to see Dolphins forced to do tricks in tiny tanks!! Woohoo!
