A look at the D999 going south in Normandy, France, towards Brecey.
A good series of bends, requiring the rider to get every bend right, right position, right speed, right gear.

  • tame twisties. You should see the Mount Glorious Mountain twisties we have here in Australia. no offence but they make your bends look tame. Im talking about tight corners with sloped cambers with up and down hill grades on the same corners with some loose gravel thrown in for fun and cliff drops on one side and rock mountain on the other side lol. But i do like the way you analize the corners on approach. Very nice ride habbits.

  • If they ferry crossing is less than 4 hours from the Uk, then I will be over........

  • Comment from rider:

Mmmmm that was the wrong line in the bend as you say wrong entry speed, watching the footage I need to use more of the road still plenty of room on some of the bends to move nearer to the crown or side of the road as required. But def OOOOOOOH

  • Its always interesting when a bend fools you, 4.46 is where the flow went and ofcourse that uneased him going in to the left hand bend, all good fun hey

  • The run upto the bend started earlier, as the rider started getting a liitle quicker everytime he came off the previous bends. I know I go on about 'POWER' on the bends, but it has to be released when on the straights. It was one of those runs where you have to judge how far you can let the rider run before makng a comment. The bend said it all. Smoothness and control restored after.

  • Nice ride, good video good comments, different look at bends from the other side

  • To be fair, wide angle lenses never do these things justice. There are a set of twisties near me that can cause the odd brown trouser moment, but on video they look really weak ;) Just always something to bear in mind imo.

  • Is that the guy from Aircraft investigation you have as the voice for your Sat Nav? I would say good choice but that would terrify me! Good videos!
