  • Just installed a NSA 2400. I dont see this option. Actually, I dont even see the Dashboard in the sidebar. Is this something that needs to be activated or installed on the device?

  • @MrMacAdmin You will need to install SonicOS Enhanced version 5.8 or newer. 5.8 is when SonicWALL introduced the application intelligence and control options.

  • Is this working on Sonicwall 1260 Pro ??

  • @lordgabb Unfortunately not. The PRO 1260 generation does not support the new application intelligence features. If you look around, SonicWALL has a special trade in program to get your more secure with the new app intelligence technology.

  • is Real-Time Monitor available in NSA240

  • @hraqhraq Yes running firmware version 5.8.x.x and newer.

  • Hello,

Can we monitor the same bandwidth usage via Analyzer 7.0.

I couldn't find bandwidth graph, there are only "Connection" and "Transferred" graphs.

    any idea on this.

  • We have done videos covering both topics of authentication but they are in our advanced video series (subscription-based) on our site.

  • Ok cool. By any chance are you going to be doing a video on setting up AD authentication or using the built-in user DB? Thanks

  • Correct. When you are not authenticating users you will only have admin and unknown. Unknown will encompass all of your users.

I would recommend you go back and try to setup AD authentication (or use the buillt-in user DB). As you will find, to implement many of the security features and more complex reporting with great detail you have to have authentication in place.
