【本報訊】無雞不成宴,但越來越多港人埋怨「雞冇雞味」。 11 月舉行的中國優質土雞美食文化節,將帶來久違了的「雞味」,新引入多款雞隻,飼養期較長達 120 日至 180 日,讓活雞有足夠時間製造更多胺基酸,令蛋白質更豐富雞味更濃,但成本相對較高,售價是市面同類雞的一至兩倍半。
中國優質土雞美食文化節將於 11 月 9 至 11 日在荃灣沙嘴道運動場舉行,透過試食、遊戲等介紹內地土生土長的雞種。主辦的溫氏食品集團總經理陳志強說,會引入多款從未到港的土雞。食神梁文韜昨應邀示範,以各種烹調手­法炮製其中四款土雞,包括溫氏黑肉雞(竹絲雞)、大騸雞(閹公雞)、文昌雞及雲英雞(閹母雞)。
