@laurenmargaux I was thinking the same thing. She looks an awful lot like Gwyneth Paltrow. But Gwyneth would have been 15 years old in 1988. That girl looks younger than that, right?

@DaneYoussef Her acting's pretty good though, and casting probably didn't have the time or budget to find somebody with expertise in both. As we're immediately immediately informed that she comes recommended by all her teachers, it's easier to forget the slight clumsiness of her steps and engage with the narrative than it would be to work out a set of poorly-acted emotions as they are portrayed throughout the entire sketch.
