The trailer for a feature length multi award-winning documentary about '60s NYC photographer & pop philosopher Larence N. Shustak (1926-2003) who suddenly up & left for New Zealand in 1973 where he set about blowing a few minds.

STOP PRESS: Stuart Page's "SHUSTAK" documentary wins "Best NZ Feature" at DocNZ International Documentary Festival of New Zealand 2009, as well as Stuart Page winning the "Best Emerging NZ Film-maker" award.

  • I have seen this via his sister. I would love to see this film entered in a U.S.A. film festival, and maybe eventually find its way to the Acadamey Awards. Like I said, I watched it (twice, actually), and it's FANTASTIC. It's a very unique and well done documentary. Thanks for posting it.
