A job that I was trying to get at a local health store, manager told me they were not hiring, 3 weeks later I came back, not asking if they were hiring but to get some sunflower seeds. @MrLik14 For that to be true someone would have to consider black men a threat. Generally, no one thinks a black man is mentally compenent or fiscally sound to compete with anyone who is not in the lowest social class. For this reason, I doubt it.

They don't have to be gay to be loved and accepted but they will have to work way harder to be trusted. Most white people stereo type us and have a little fear and distrust when it comes to straight, black males because they view us as ignorant and aggressive and angry individuals. When you look at the media and television all you see are the bad ones. The good black men get no shine at all. We rarely hear about the educated and smart, positive ones that are doing well for themselves.
