This was recorded at Bury St Edmunds on 17th April 2010. I started the recording after the jig had started, so missed the first couple of figures. This is a traditional Cotswold jig which would have been danced around long clay pipes placed on the ground in a cross, similar to sword dancing; the purpose being to show the dancer's nimble footwork. It can be danced with any number of dancers or as a solo.
