Indian schools of higher education are great of opportunities and actual education, but I think the culture there is pathetic. Yes, the students are very smart and have fun, but many students are also involved in ragging, which is where the freshmen and sophomores are forced to perform painful or humiliating acts, just to be part of the gang. It's just plain bullying. Things like making you throw yourself down the stairs. And one day, they do the same to younger students.
Sad, but true.
