8 Laws of Artistic Experience

Review of Ramachandran and Hirstein's publication of 'The Science of Art: A Neurological Theory of Aesthetic Experience' by a Georgia Tech neurology student. Ramachandran's work is closely tied to the field of Neuroaesthetics: an attempt to combine neurological research with aesthetics by investigating the experience of beauty and appreciation of art on the level of brain functions and mental states. This video was made in conjunction with a class assignment.
