@MikeVsonn daniel did run 1.37 thru the speed trap which is AMAZINGLY fast and is actually 10.9 m/s! This is a completely different thing though than running with a pole. At the box, only bubka huffman, peltoniemi, guaullin, tiwontschik, duplantis and iapichino have ever recorded velocities over 10m/s. Daniel is mostly in the 9.3-9.4 range which is still incredibly fast! One of the fastest in the US! Oh and the 100m world record in the decathlon is held by Chris Huffins at 10.22 :-)

@jcoover I dunno man hahah. Ryland ran a 15m speed trap in 1.37 seconds which is like 9.99m/s which is a hair faster than Bubka I think. No doubt those guys are all amazingly fast seeing as how they all jumped over 5.90 or something crazy. Ryland does hold the world record for the 100m in the decathlon too hahah.
