Id imagine if it was big enough and just happened to fly in the focal point, it could get hurt or killed even. Only takes 2 seconds to burn with a small one. Thats the last thought we need though.. it will be like die another day, A villain (or country) will just use mirrors to kill each other..

Hey.. what if those countries that would benefit from global warming don't help out? I mean, if Siberia increase agriculture by having Russian factories pump out more products, then wouldn't it be better for them to create more stuff?

also, one could build a radiation wave guide for peltier modules, the wave guide could have heat sinks built outside the wave guide for cooling while the inside gets very hot. I have 30 years of mechanical and electrical engineering skills so the design of something like this comes easy if one has the resources.
I will post a diagram on the SMOT site to illustrate the principle of the peltier radiation wave guide.
