It would've been 3 on 2 (Jane and Dagg still covering) with Conrad Smith also moving to cover the inside space had AAC passed as you said. No guarantee of a try but I agree it would've been a better choice than taking it into contact when he did and eventually turning it over...
All in hindsight now I guess.
