Buttercup is a phenomenal four year old tan and white female pit bull who came into the Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on December 14th. Weighing sixty-five pounds this wonderful dog knows how to sit and down on command, is extremely gentle and loves children and other dogs. Buttercup has a entropion on her right eye, which can easily be fixed. The shelter was going to euthanize Buttercup because four year old pit bulls rarely are adopted at Baldwin Park but the wonderful people from Best Friends and the Jason Heigl Foundation persuaded them to allow this sensational mid level energy girl to live. The Jason Heigl Foundation is offering a $500 donation to any qualified rescue who will step in and rescue Buttercup, and we're hoping someone comes in to save her - because this is a fantastic dog!
