Actually he was born in the UK in Cornwall, and then became an American Citizen after Vietnam. But it makes no difference where he was from, he was hero beyond belief. Rest in peace Rick. You will never be forgotten.

His town was Hayle. He met American soldiers who were in England, and he wanted to be a soldier, an American soldier. He fought in Africa as a soldier and police officer, but than volunteered to go to Vietnam to fight communists. He was a platoon leader at Ia Drang Valley. He was the director of security for Morgan Stanely and Dean Witter, and he died as he lived, with courage.
