They might not be the mechanically sound, generic music you listen to, but they possess the vim and vigor that is chronically missing from the music world. Hipster is a lable that people like you used to characterized something they don't understand, and unfortunately some people bought into it. It is something created out of nothing. I don't understand where you morons are coming from with the "hipster" comments. The simple difference between this and the "atmospheric" garbage that will soon be on its way out just like punk, grunge and countless other styles that were commercialized for better or worse is that it has a pleasant melody and decent lyrics.
