Rusty NEVER should have been on there. All season long he referred/compared/contrasted the Stock cars w/ INDY - WHO CARES!

@cameron23231, I'll somewhat agree. Nascar as a whole may be better, but nothing beats the history, tradition, and pageantry of the Indy 500. More people still go to it and it would have higher TV ratings if it still wasn't blacked out in its own viewing area. Fact is: there isn't one Nascar even that has a higher attendance than the Indy 500 does. The Indy 500 is better than anything Nascar does, but Nascar may be better than IndyCar. Its just a matter of personal preference, but Indy is better

(before anyone responds, yes, a win is a win, but it was on fuel mileage with half the field in Long Beach for a race of their own the same weekend...emphasis on the latter)

The Andretti Curse Lives. Michael was so close but couldn't get it done, Marco came closer but still couldn't get it done. John isn't very good, Mario should have won atleast three times. The Andretti Curse.

Not only did Rusty screw up and say "greatest Daytona 500 ever," Marty Reid screwed up in the unedited version...calling this the "closest finish....uhhh...err....second closest finish in Indy history."
It's little known, but Rusty's flub cost ABC the Sports Emmy for "Best Live Sports Event" for 2006.
