Pascal's Wager is actually a decent argument for some sort of belief...as far as that side of the argument goes. However, to me, if one decides to believe something because of a wager, than one doesn't really believe it.
and continuing the argument of pascals wager... one should believe which ever religion has the most fearsome hell.

"This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it." -John Adams
were some of the founding fathers christian? yes they most definitely were but to say that the early American leaders and framers of the constitution wanted it to be a "christian nation" is blatantly a lie.

"All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit." -Thomas Paine

".... I began to doubt of Revelation itself. Some books against Deism fell into my hands; they were said to be the substance of sermons preached at Boyle's Lectures. It happened that they wrought an effect on me quite contrary to what was intended by them; for the arguments of the Deists, which were quoted to be refuted, appeared to me much stronger than the refutations; in short, I soon became a thorough Deist."
-Ben Franklin

"Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the common law."
"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government."
"If we did a good act merely from love of God and a belief that it is pleasing to Him, whence arises the morality of the Atheist? ...Their virtue, then, must have had some other foundation than the love of God. "
-Thomas Jefferson

You are talking nonsense.
God has no place in government.
The founding fathers knew that. God was only introduced by force later.

If you are offended by this then I encourage you to read history. Read about the men the began this great nation. It was Ben Franklin that in order to end the endless arguments during the first continental congress implored all members to stop and pray for God's guidance. After that time of prayer they were able to give us the bill of rights. The day GOD is forcibly removed from our government is the day this country will cease to exist as the beacon of freedom and democracy for the world.

We, Christians, wouldn't expect you, non-believers, to understand. Satan makes you ignorant to the truth. It would be nice if you would understand what you are commenting on before you make your comments with so much error.
2Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
