  • ASL Democracy!

  • Yes! ha!

  • are you deaf? clearly you are quite fluent in ASL, but it doesn't look native/deaf school to me. (forgive me :) No insult implied)

  • Yup. I am Deaf. What else? :-) No, I never went to Deaf school. But went to Gallaudet Unviersity for a year. I immersed ASL since 4 years.

  • ok, I know ASL very well. Its my 3rd language and I'm also hard of hearing. He is right. ASL is an actual language. You can go to college and take ASL. it does count as a language!! whatever he said he's completly right. no doubts about that.

if you see any hearing people insulting the deaf people that just means they're very ignorant.

  • Probably, just how our vocal chords get tired, so does our hands and arms.

  • @staraction I live in Florida also. I'm 18, just graduated from highschool where I studied ASL for 2 years (ASL 4), was hearing until age 10, had a few accidents that dmged my hearing developed tinnitus, and then age 17 tinnitus worsened as well and finally hearing decreased to the point where I am now Hard of Hearing. I'm going to a college nearby to learn Interpret, hopefully with hearing aids I can hear well enough. There are many places in Florida to learn asl, if curious, please msg me.

  • :( i wish i could understand ASL. i've tried to learn from books, but that isn't enough... i would love to learn it fluently! this year i will see if my college will begin giving ASL classes. :D

even though i cannot understand, thank you for posting your videos :) i enjoy watching!

  • wow I admit I need to study more on Deaf History. I really hate history in General..but I need to learn more.

  • cool! I used to be a hearing person until i developed Presbycusis at the age or 26 and now that i am 27, i also suffer from Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) I am looking to learn ASL but sadly, in Florida where i live no school or colleges teaches ASL...i am so bothered by it.

  • I've got a question, but please don't think I'm trying to be rude, or joking. I really am not.

Do your guys hands and arms ever get tired, from how fast, you sign?

Again If it seems like I'm mocking, I'm not I'm truly curious,
