GRAND (3:47)
(Grunge Rock) Celebration of new-found freedom and marriage in the United States. The song was inspired by the CA Supreme Court overturning ban on same-sex marriage in May 2008, in which I wrote the song a few days after that fateful day.

They had decided to move to Iowa, where Ethans greater family was from, and six months later they held a modest but very tender wedding ceremony and reception, filled with Jacobs and Ethans friends and family to share in this divine moment of compassion and commitment.
