From 1971, Morgan Freeman sings a melancholy song by Joe Raposo & Elaine Laron.

It's really impressive how a song teaching the "sh" sound from a children's show can be so moving and full of emotion. I doubt if there will ever be another educational program with such a unique mix of talent, both behind and in front of the camera.

  • I have to tell you that I love the Shoo Shoo Sunshine song. Morgan was awsome singing it. I am always crying inside of me everytime I hear of it. Morgan Freeman could have won a grammy for his singing this song!

  • Morgan Freeman 's the best! He's not only a fantastic actor and a voiceover, but he's a fabulous singer! I loved him in Electric Company and I loved him doing the voiceover for the documentary- March of the Penguin and as an actor for "Dolphin Tales". This is his memorable appearance for the Electric Company, my favorite educational program/show!

  • "And sometimes, on those looong stormy nights, Andy and I would lie down in our beds and I would sing him Shoo Shoo Sunshine until he fell asleep. And on some nights, deep, deep among the cells, you could hear a whimper or two from ol' brooksy. He sure loved that crow. I'm Morgan Freeman, and this is my voice".
