Differing beliefs and goals.
Metaphysics aside,
All this time the man is concerned about his *own* fate. What of the man he killed ? the man's family/friends ? fellow patients ? the hospital staff ? he doesn't seem to care ( not in this vid. I've not seen the whole show ). That self-important attitude is a problem he has to see and deal with, no matter what he eventually believes.
I can't elaborate here. YT word limit.

Buddhist cant save a man from their guilt either. Once again, I am not talking about a feeling of guilt, but a man's actual guilt. We are all guilty, everyone one of us. It just depends on if we see and acknowledge our guilt, like this man in the movie.

See ... "ourselves", "yourself" ...
The Buddhist tradition is also noteworthy for its view on the soul. ( I shall not say "unique" )
Look up "anatta".

It is the fact that we have actual Guilt, not a guilty feeling, but actual guilt, we are guilty creatures, we have done wrong and it needs to be taken care of, and we cannot do it ourselves.

This is why Jesus Christ is unique throughout the world, because he suffered the punishment for the sins of the world, every other religion requires you to right your wrongs, to work yourself to heaven or salvation or whatever you are working towards, all these are lies, because we cannot right wrongs. The only way to be saved is if someone steps in and takes the punishment for my and your wrongs. That is the only way TRUE Justice can exist, because man's justice is not complete.

there is no such thing as righting a wrong, that does not exist. Wrongs do not go away, or disapear after a right is done. We are still responsible for the wrongs we did, and do, regardless of whatever right things we do. That is how justics works my friend, you cannot kill someone then go before a judge and say "I know I am guilty judge but I did alot of good stuff to make up for the wrong I did, can I be forgiven?" He would say well that is nice, but still throw the book at you.

He does not want "answers". He already "knows". See how he refuses to listen or think.
What he wants in this vid is a shortcut to salvation for himself only.
What he really needs is to get up and right the wrongs he committed.
Donate his organs. Pray for a better world. etc.
Helping others and saving lives are better than building a big place of worship.
Is that not TRUTH ?
In short, his main obstacle to "Forgiveness" is his selfishness.
You may not agree. That's fine.

try?? Did you not hear the man? He needs ANSWERS, not something to try. He needs TRUTH, real TRUTH.
