Did Paul Desmond mess up after his solo when the tune returns? He gives a slight 'body laugh' gesture at 1'32" after folding his hands . I know the original, and Paul has another 7 bars after his first three notes! Good to see that even the greatest are still human. This tune still swings it's ass off though. I have met Dave Brubeck and Joe Morello (drummer) and they are the nicest people and humble too - a sign of real greatness.
We'll not see the likes of this again unfortunately.
