@brambillator hey my best advice is to keep at it man. at least you're working on it, unlike many others. you will only keep improving.
if you can try to get the 1st lap under 1:06.000 then it's still highly possible. i've seen ppl get gold with a 1st lap of 1.06.0XX. 2nd lap is all about maintaining the pace and being used to the pressure.
i assume you're using the ds3 too. do you have the controller sensitivity at 7?

It is impossible to do that.
I'm trying for over a week now. Best times were 1:6.600 on first lap and 1:5.689 on second.
