NBC News Royal Wedding App on District Wire News

As part of my internship with NBC News this semester, I have been working with a Nightly News with Brian Williams producer. I have had the opportunity to help her with The Royal Wedding App by NBC News, and she has been great with allowing me to get some hands-on experience. I research the members of the royal family, the royal route, royal etiquette and traditions as well as the royal family's jewels.

I wrote content for the Etiquette and Traditions page as well as the Save the Date page. I also gathered photos for many of the slideshows and wrote captions to accompany the images. If you download the App, check out the following slideshows: Jewels, Kate: Princess in Training, Mad Hats and Traditions as well as the interactive locations on the Royal Route.

The free iPhone and iPad Apps launched this week. They're available in the iTunes App store.

As a producer for District Wire News, AU's graduate journalism broadcast, I wrote a piece on the app, which my classmate Kate Musselwhite delivered.

The app is now available on the Android, too.
