The British Royal Marines are one of the oldest, toughest marine units alive and will be. The USMC owes its traditions to the RMC, which they borrowed and improved a little. Physical fitness has always been very tough and a serious matter takin into consideration if you make the cut and enlist in the RMC. Love the hell out of the way they stay lowkey but yet get the job done if called upon just like in the falklands. Their battle training is almost second to none. Much respect RMC.

Unless anyone has served in the USMC or RM they have no need to make comments about the relative prowess of the USMC or RM. Most Youtubers couldn't work their way our of a lounge chair to get another Hot Pocket let alone go through a brief ten minutes of physical fitness training that US and Royal Marines go through as part of their daily routine.

The 13 weeks of USMC recruit training is only an intro to the USMC. It takes about 9 months of formal training to produce a battle-ready Marine.

@invizz0ninja this isnt the royal marines. it the PRMC (potential royal marine) only when they have passed this do they start their 32 week training which is 5x harder

The RMC has the longest and toughest training in all the armed forces USMC included, the RMC training is 32weeks long of the toughest physical and mental things you will ever do in your life

Has anyone here even seen the USMC in action? I have, they're different from the RMC. From watching this video, they dont seem to yell that loud and also not into someones faces. But in the USMC, they get into someones faces and they dont give a crap. They would take ur bed apart and put it outside. They have run back n fourth but only in one step and not stop. Ive seent the instructor throw the recruits bed everywhere. Ive seen it, and its crazy/

@savannahblk I agree but it started by the US Navy but its traditions comes from the RMC. Have u ever seen what it is like for the USMC? Ive seen them in action where I lived, the instructor actually gets in your face and they get loud. haha

@cornemusa no 13 weeks basic then if they go in for intrantry it 9 weeks extra so about 21 weeks

USMC do not owe nothing to no one...

USMC is its own unit owes nothing to nobody not even the navy...

im not disrespecting RMC... RMC=some hard ass mother fuckers USMC=som hard ass mother fuckers too... only difference they are not the same...

dont talk like you know USMC brother... both best fighting forces, both good unit... but different
