"Born to Buck?" (Part Two) -- The Big Rodeo Lie

This is the second in a series of videos proving rodeo horses are not "Born to Buck," as is claimed by the rodeo industry.

This footage comes from the 2007 National High School Rodeo Association Finals held in Springfield, Illinois. A court order barred the rodeo from using electric prods, one of the weapons frequently used to force these tame, domesticated animals to buck as if wild.

Watch what happens when rodeo horses are NOT shocked with five to six thousand painful volts of electricity.

I used to know a 'cowgirl' she was very mean, but still I always thought she cared for her horses until one day I saw her slap one of them, i thought nothing of it. Now I think back and realize, she probably did that often and probably still does.... also, it probably rubbed of on her regular life. she was even mean with me.

It is so sad, that there are still people who are able to hurt or even kill animals just for fun or any other dump reason. Have you heard from the dogs, which were killed because of the soccer/football EM in 2012? Dogs are killed just because there are so many wild ones and they are scared that they could bite the guests, eventhough they're mostly peaceful... just so sad

I agree with this video, if these guys want to play dress up and pretend to be a cowboy that's fine. But as far as what they do with the horses to try to get them to buck isn't right. I remember going to rodeo's when I was a kid, and I never realized what abuse these animals go through until I watched these shark videos.
