Zhao Yun Gameplay: DW7 - Battle at He Fei - Commentary [New Weapons]

Hope you'all had a great Christmas, I know I did :) Enjoy your gifts this year, and enjoy this Gameplay :) Okay so this gameplay is about Zhao Yun's new weapon and Moveset. They pretty much just took his moveset's from DW5 and DW6, [which is great] and morphed' em together. The first thing you will remember about the spear is the air born attack [ X, Square atleast 6 times], he will jump in the air and then juggle his opponent in the air. Then top it off with a quick slash, to throw the enemy back down to the ground. The next thing you will remember is the other air born attack he does. But this one is from DW6, and far more powerful. So press [Square, Square Triange the rest of the time} he then hits his opponent with a few nomal hits, then does a counter clockwise - spin with his spear and the thrusts forward and launches the in the air, while spinning. And of course A new ability has been added to the spear were you can evade enemy's while they are hitting you.

do you prefer dw6's dodge roll? or do you prefer them going back to like the other games without the feature?

@surpremecoolness22 Well It was useful, but i have to say i like what they have now. certain weapons allow you to evade, it's a bit more realistic i think anyway.

Awesome video man haha, this shows how long I've been away from DW. I didn't know/forgot there was a 7 XL. One thing that u said about evading officers, now they're transforming this game into gundam...

On the subject of DW6, I have to say while I didn't hate it, and I still enjoy playing it, for me personally it's the most overlookable Dynasty warriors game. Just the whole cutting characters thing, and the renbu system, which IMO is a cool idea, it justs needs some work to make it less of a chore to build up your renbu gauge to access your full moveset.

Although I do agree that DW4 is pretty repetitive, ESPECIALLY the first few stages, because ALL the kingdoms do the YTR and Dong Zhou. :P

Guan Yu and Zhang Fei also have new movesets FYI.

Also nice gameplay, I definately enjoy the new Dragon spear moveset for Yun, it's cool how the shaft actually bends as you attack with it.
