Why did you use a metal lathe to make these?

@Torzalbass This is awesome. I have a question: how do you sharpen the pot? Also (and this might be a silly question) but what's the name of the machine you're using?

The music is Marcus Miller doing a remix on the group Weather Report - Mr Gone album, composed by the late Jaco Pastorius Title Punk Jazz and it has nothing to do with punk. Great version

@freedok wait who are you talking to? it sounds intresting.

I currently have the new Knobeez solid rubber guitar knobs up on eBay. Send me a line and I will send you a few free ones If you like. They come in black, vanilla, blue, coral red, purple and pink!

beautiful craftsmenship but out of curiosity can you make a star shaped knob?
Usually I just use boiled linseed oil or danish oil for ebony or rosewood. I'd hardly even call it a finish, just a little conditioning. Gel varnish such as Bartleys is good too.

What is the name of the thing that puts the knurls on the inside of the knob? And where can I find one? I have a project in mind to do knobs with brass or copper.

@katobaggins It's the shaft from an actual pot, sharpened on the inside. Works fine on wood, but it would be too soft to broach brass or copper.
