I remember this ad and I think another one like it from the late 1980's. Thank you for bringing back some good memories of growing up near Philly and a 'golden age' of Saturday Morning Cartoons, when I usually saw this commercial air. I remember ABC 6 (WPVI-TV) being one of the 'big three' back in the 1980's with Channel 3 (KYW-TV) at the time being NBC and Channel 10 (WCAU-TV) being CBS. I also agree with TheYummerzm a retrospective on 3, 6, 10 would be fun and interesting to watch.

Sister station WABC-TV did one of those "There's that news van again" ads, it was probably an ABC O&O thing.

Haha. Wow does this ever bring back memories. Lived in Philly for years and remember this well! Classic!
I really wish that the big philly stations 3, 6 and 10 would run a few retrospectives about their history on tv...Can you imagine the treasure trove of goodies you'd find in the film and tape archives!?!?!?! It must be incredible stuff much of it hasn't been seen in decades for sure!
