LeBron James shook off flu-like symptoms to put up 31 points, eight rebounds and eight assists -- hours after being told to stay away from the team's shootaround practice after calling in with a cough and chest congestion -- and the Miami Heat topped the Lakers 98-87 on Thursday night.

lebron james is the only player in nba history that can do everything. he is not michael he is LEBRON. coach spo can tell lebron, hey be john stockton on this play. and on the next be karl malone. NOBODY has ever been able to do this. best player ever in the open court, has a solid mid range game now, can post up, and is the best driver and finisher we have ever seen. and his defense is incredible. but im not a kobe hater, kobe is still great!!

Now what lakers fans will say is, well kobe's team is nothing and without him they arent going anymore. okay lets use that logic. again we're talking about a team and lebron in cleveland? kobes team now is way better than any cleveland team lebron had, and look what lebron did with those teams. so nobody talk about how kobe's team is bad because lebron took the worst supporting cast in history to a finals as a 22 year old kid.

@robsnyderisacarrot mj is the greatest, i guess we forget things quickly but mj did everything too, and won 6 championships on top of it. yes lebron is bigger and stronger which makes him slightly more diverse in his game but that's about it. and im not sayin mj was small or weak by any means.

@JBobomb You're wrong dude! Even in his Cleveland days, he can average 6-8 assist per game. He is not averaging 7 assist in the Heat coz of his two buddies. Even without Wade and Bosh he can still assists 7 and above assists.

lebron is the most complete player in the game today, kobe's my fav but i gotta hand it off to lebron. but it's easier for him to get assists and rebounds because he has a better team tht willl actually make it when he passes to them, kobe's team doesnt have that great players so kobe finds it hard to trust them. also lebron has a size advantage allowing him to grab rebounds unlike kobe who has two big men on his team who will eat up most rebounds
