I have glued some HD Magnets to the flywheel to see if I can generate enough power to light an LED.

  • you made a generator. you put mechanical energy in your disk and get electrical out of the coil.

    so thats nothing new.

  • Yeah, I get that!.... its work in progress. watch the previous videos.....

Or not it up to you, Thanks for your input but you need to see a bigger picture...

You judgement would be appricated more if you see the work in progress...

    Paul..

  • You could sign up for the ad program with Google, then people could click on the ads and you get money.

  • Thanks I will...

  • I am trying to make one and I too have problems with piston, either it doesn't seal good or too much friction.

Now I am trying with membrane instead of piston

  • I have been told a tube with water in it will do the job until you get the right piston,

    Hope this helps...

    Paul..

  • I thought a stirling engine were engines that took advantage of heat differences. In the vid, looks like a generator for ac current.

  • how can you find that wheel

  • Are you going to use apposing force magnets to permanently spin the disc?

  • Hi kubikop,

nice little generator there with no enormous parts looks possible to generate enough power for any small device?

    Take care,

  • This is to E&M as Sterling engines are to thermodynamics.

  • Everything fine, but it's not a Stirling Engine

  • I got no idea what you people talk and I have better things to do but for an unknown reason for me I return and watch you'r videos allmost every day and i still don't understand anything(also english is not my strong side thus it makes understanding even harder) but i still come back to watch things happen that phyisics can explain but i can't :D

  • @OhNoNotMyPenis Seeing as no one answered your question, not sure if you still care for it.

:p but yes the faster the generator spins the more power it will generate up to a point.

This is the general concept behind all generators spinning magnets around a coil, or a coil spinning around magnets. The energy to spin it is always more then the energy produced.

  • Can you tell me 'plans' for the coil? Please! I could use this for my stirling engine. Thank you :)

  • Really enjoying your videos , I wont lie the one that blew up was quite impressive till it blew up. Clicking some ads in hopes of funding more videos :)

  • how do you figure theses things out
