The urinary system is made up of two kidneys, two urethras, a bladder, and a urethra. The main function of the kidney is the nephron, which filters the blood and removes unneeded water to keep homeostasis. It carries water and nitrogen waste from the body and keeps water, glucose, vitamins, amino acids, and proteins in the body. The liquid is forced into the Bowman's capsule, which is a U-shaped tubule. It passes through and all the needed material is absorbed back in as the unneeded goes into the urethra and goes out of the body as urine.
