Welcome to the fourth of four videos from Intel IT. This series of videos highlight various IT Sustainability projects and the IT experts that have worked on them. The experts showcased in these videos have a passion for sustainability not only in their professional lives at Intel but also within their homes and personal lives. We welcome your comments and discussion on IT Sustainability and what you and your company are doing to lower your carbon footprint.

Just raising the temperature one or two degrees on the thermostat in the data center can make a difference to a company's energy bill. But it's not as easy as it seems. Data Centers support Intel's chip business and precise temperatures are critical for success. In this edition of Making IT Real, Alon Brauner, manager of Intel's data center in Israel and India, says the data center can get warmer without sacrificing performance.
