There's a family of green catbirds that live in the rainforest behind our house. They really do sound like cats! Sorry for the fuzzy video in bits, they move pretty quickly

  • In Australia, on the Central Coast of New South Wales (1hr north of Sydney, on the east coast).

These little birds come and tap on my window in the morning for a handful of grapes! :-)

  • There are such pretty birds in Australia... :)

  • Thats great,I live in north queensland and we have a pair of spotted catbirds that come feed on banana everyday.

  • Isn't it a young spotted catbird? It's not easy to tell the difference between green and spotted one (they're so similar that often considered as the same species), but I thought that green catbirds had a bit different wings pattern...

Either way I'm so jealous of you, I wish I had a chance to see those birds righ outside my window :)

  • That's awesome and I love the Bell birds in the background too.

  • Cool, what country was this taken in?
