  • i got news for all you dumb fucks , if it says organic and its not full of bug holes then the outside is just teaming with poison. so go ahead and throw good money down the drain.

  • Our modern day lives are based on FLAWED science & EXAGGERATED claims. Not forgetting the criminals that purposely contaminate our water, air & foods.

  • It's all about good advertising. I was at the public library and they had exhibits of poster ads from 60 yrs ago promoting cigarettes. Doctors were endorsing menthol cigarettes claiming it can cure sore throats and lung infections. I'm sure people believed it then. After all, why would doctors mess with your health. LOL

  • Something you said is false and misleading. A publicly held company does NOT have to answer to the public. It only has to answer to it's stock holders. Using false statements while putting yourself as righteous is pretty scummy.

  • Our local organic store in CO, Natural Grocers (previously Vitamin Cottage), recycles the shipping boxes the produce comes in to cart out the groceries, rather than breaking the boxes down and tossing them. This strikes me as the very best solution--even better than bringing your own bag! The boxes then come in handy at home (for moving or storage) and can eventually be recycled easily.

  • the key point is the cost transporting paper garbage is on several orders of magnitude in carbon foot print versus plastic.

  • Your video doesnt provide enough corroboration on those claims. Plastic may take longer to degrade, it may contain more harmful contaminants proportionally, are all papers creating those metrics - there are numerous variables to consider which makes any bullet list like the one you showed insufficient to prove a claim, and more likely used to prop up an agenda. I'm generally more suspect of plastic than paper because paper is more natural than plastic. So what you have is NOT ENOUGH INFO

  • Are there 1000 miles wide "paper islands" floating in our oceans?

  • Who cares? You should be bringing your own bag anyway.

  • whole foods imports here 365 "organic" products from china where there is no organic checks or regulations
