@oneangrysoldier the problem here is not knowing about the Mormons or not. If I had posted this,and held up my faith [I am Roman Catholic[, this person would have had something bad to say about that! the problem is that religions which preach love and peace are not "comfortable". they make you look at your life and question whether you are living according to what Jesus taught us, or not. It is much easier to deny, criticize, don't you think?

@FryChicken Ok. You are so inaccurate about the religion that what you just said doesn't even make sense. Mormons preach hatred? Prove it. Mormons don't push their beliefs on anybody, other than basic values commercials about what is common for everybody (Patience for example). Other than that, they mind their own business. I really think you need to do some more research by talking to actual Mormons, and not someone who "thinks" they know about Mormons. Please tell me where you got your info.

Almost all religions have a basis in insanity, however the mormons take it to a new level.

I wouldn't mind, except they then impose their viewpoints on others (best example is their organized support of proposition 8), so they also participate in hatred.

Trying to leave the church incurs massive pressure from the community to stay in, and going to a mormon church is like going to a preschool church. They don't know why they're there so they are reminded.

@FryChicken Sadly, 90% of those who dislike Mormons (you included) have no clue what they even are. They just know that they are supposed to hate them because everyone else does. How many religions are out there that preach about how bad Mormons are? The answer is a LOT! A "true" religion will not preach hatred, but love and acceptance for all. Jesus says to love your enemies. Why preach hatred or in a manner to cause someone to hate? That goes against teachings of Christ, doesn't it?
