@805talls I hope your dog was not as smart as you.

Hard to train??? I think someones trying to take more credit for training skills than what is deserved. lol My boy was darn near born potty trained and remembers well when hes corrected for something, IF we have to correct him. He is by far the easiest, most pleasant breed we've owned. And we've had a LOT of dogs. The ONLY problem we have with Baker is fighting the urge to get more Bakers..lol

@nblax41 They are truely are loyal and loves there familly. Wally( my pei) follows me every where! when experts call them fighting dogs, it relates more to the standard bread. The miniature and toy are the opposit. they truely are great dogs!

They may be fighting and defensive dogs but they are the biggest babies ever. Our shar-pei/lab mix is the biggest pushover we've ever had but also the most trainable and intelligent.

EVERYONE NEED A SHAR PEI!!!

wrinkles and hyppo faces rule!

I have a liitle chocolate wrinkle that was on the streets and the we adopted her she is loveable and gaurds us from squirells
Despite the health concerns, I wouldn't have any other dog than a shar pei. Their personalities make them the best dog on earth.

Hard to train? Is she nuts? The 3 Pei's I've had were super smart and remembered their tricks.
