8-Bit Lash's Theme (Advance Wars 2)

NES-style Lash's theme! Such a good tune, such an annoying power to fight against.

The sprite is based mainly off of her AW2 image rather than her DS one, but I left off the buckles (which were present in AW2, but not in AWDS).

The NES-style music and the sprite are both made by me, original music and character are © Nintendo.

Are you using FamiTracker? It's pretty good!

I would only recommend working around the half-song mark (0:40)--the main instrument there doesn't quite sound right, and its notes seem to be slightly off.

Actually, I'm working on a Mac so I've been using the Magical 8Bit Plug module (compatible with GarageBand).

Yeah, the original instrument is pretty atonal, so I tried using the noise generator at first, but that was not pitched enough, so I switched it to how it is now... I still haven't been able to create a satisfactory instrument for that bit, but if time allows, I might try to fix it.

Have you tried a Windows emulator? I've heard good things about WINE--maybe that'll help you out?

If you might want FamiTracker instead, that is. Whatever's easiest for you to work with though!
