Yet another musician who's lauded on only after they're dead.
Before you jump on me, hear me out: Vitek was a great drummer, and it sucks that he's dead. But if you don't think that their aren't a two dozen other drummers who have been doing this, and better, for years, then you're either conforming to popular opinion or you're incredibly sheltered from the metal scene.

Vitek was greatly appreciated when he was alive, for his kindness and his talent alike. his kindness was legendary, according to those who met him. (I didn't).
he gets better known now by younger metalheads, right. and he was not the absolute best, that's true too. but I would be more than satisfied if I had his drumming level, haha !
