  • I love my powerblocks I have a 10-90pound set, but I have to admit the convenience and design of Powerblocks breaks down after that point, to use anything over 90 pounds looks like a pain

  • I totally agree, over 90 and it defeats the purpose of the quick change dumbbell. It's still faster than loading plates on handles and still very compact for such a heavy weight!

  • The Elite 130's are about 19.5 Inches long!

I purchased this amp about a year ago and to this day I have had no problems whatsoever. If you wanna wire the amp down to 1ohm it can be done but only with 1 DVC 2 ohm subs, if you try to wire down 2 DVC subs that are both @ 2ohms the ohms will drop down to .5 ohms and the amp can not handle that actually no amp that is 1 ohm stable ...

My husband researched the best product of this type and had been talking about Powerblocks for months. I purchased them for Christmas and he loves them. Widest weight range in product class. Purchased stand too. It's great.

After much research, I've purchased the Powerblocks Sport 9.0's that go up to 90 lbs. The 50lbs are expandable to the 90lbs, and then that set into the 130lbs. I am completely satisfied and excited by the set. My review is not to explain their function, but to save anyone the research time between Weider's, Bowflex, Ironmaster, ...

  • Thanks for the vid. I have the 90's and wanted to see the 130's in action. Your vid gave a better view of them than the little pictures on other sites.

  • you have too much time on your hands

  • are there any videos showing someone actually picking one of these monsters up??

  • Which is better? Powerblock elite or powerblock sports series?

  • These look like if ever wanted to go up to 130, some exercises would be impossible because of the size of each dumbell. I can't see myself doing a chest press with that huge thing in each hand. My question is, how good are these for 100/105/110 weight? is the size of the dumble at that weigh still decent enough to do regular exercises?

Im not freakishly strong or anything, I would RARELY go to 100 but when Im pumped I can go pretty high, so I had that doubt.

  • Great video, I just have a question. I haven't done any weighs since I got married, which was like a year ago but before that I used to do up to 100 pounds each hand when I was doing some chest exercises and some triceps. I did 100 because thats the max weight my gym carried, now I want to get back to lifting but in my house, so I ordered the sport 9 up to set 3, which goes up to 130 pounds but I dont see my self going over 100 (continued in the next post)
