Silva Mind Control History

Silva began developing the method; formerly known as Silva Mind Control, in the 1940s before launching it commercially in the 1960s.[1][2]. It developed out of Silva's conviction that the thoughts and actions of 90% of the world's population were governed by the the left hemisphere of their brain; limiting them using only logical, intellectual, objective means of problem resolution. Silva believed that by training people to think with both the right brain hemisphere as well as their left they could access information stored at a subconscious level. [1][2] According to Skeptical author Robert Carroll, the Silva method appears to be based on the work of Roger Wolcott Sperry, but with Silva's own twists in it that make it an inaccurate model. [1]

@KALAMANAMANAWA Well, first of all you are mistaken to call Jesus a 'psychic prophet', for he was neither. He prophesied, yet not a prophet, he taught but was not just a teacher. He was God in the flesh. He was and is the Messiah. God warns against practicing fortune telling or any divination's. Perhaps by psychic, you mean intelligent. Albert E. was intelligent and God does give people ideas and inventions, but Albert was not a psychic prophet.

I agree with Mr Silva about the literally interpretation; well nobody in the scientific world will believe that the world have being created in 7 DAYS of 24 hours (a human measurement from a earthly perspective) and that the earth is only 6000 years old (based upon Middle Eastern believes and traditions that had influence the Yavists writings during the Babylonian captivity the guys who wrote the Torah) and how Cain got his wife (it does not say, it was his sister, that is an interpretation)

The best way to debate Christians is to force them to prove the validity of their beliefs. They cannot. What they can do is quote the Bible -- but of course they cannot prove that the Bible is infallible nor can they prove that it is always truthful. Christians are stuck with the same problems as many of the people they debate- having incomplete information. It is hard psychologically for them to acknowledge this fact but is is pretty simple to reduce them to a statement of faith not fact

the Greek word used has different meanings depending on the context. Its the same Greek word used to refer to the inside of the cup as in Matt. 23:26.
