@NatureLover987 It is an archtop guitar and it is built like a fiddle (good observation!). Most guitars have a flat top. This one is carved . . top and back start out being a half inch thick (or more?) and both surfaces get carved to end up with an arched profile. It makes the guitar loud but lacking the rich overtones of a flat top.
