By far my favorite Peter Cooper song... I can listen to this one over and over again. And Lloyd Green's steel playing is so beautiful.

Two words are synonymous with GREAT pedal steel guitar playing, and those two words are Lloyd Green. When Lloyd plays, it's not simply just music, it's magic.

This is just the Best! And Lloyd really makes it so,his thinking and touch is very
special! I met Lloyd once when I was playing back up steel on the Val Doonican
show in the UK in the 70's, but hey I had my photo taken with him and shook
hands, but bugger all has rubbed off on me!!!
Aaaand my 'ol friend Pat McInerny is there on drums-Brill.

What extra words can be dreamed up and placed in a dictionary that can describe Lloyd Green ? The ones that are there just are not adequate , personally I think 'exquisite " is the word for this piece but I grasp to find even better because playing like this deserves something else, something extra. "Emotionally beautiful "as a last thought.

Lloyd is the best, by far, but "Moon" is quite recognizable by the ear of a PSG lover!

Lloyd Green Is the only pedal steel guitarist who , when you hear him you never have to ask the question , who is that playing the steel guitar ?
Lloyd is the most recognisable pedal steel man ever, that unique style and sound is unmistakable.
Pete Drake came close in the most recognisable pedal steel guitarist in sound and style , and in the 60s 70s these two all but cleaned up the sessions in nashville playing 4 or 5 sessions a day !!!
