They are cheaper at Home Depot. I found 3" test caps for 30 cents... 2" are probably 20c. Any MPG updates from your car?

Marine epoxy is not going to bond to plastic very well. You could probably get a better job with PVC pipe glue.

Normally you would use #18 plastic cement. Go to a plasic shop and they will have scraps and glue, etc.
